The LNG (liquid natural gas) pipeline project is one of the largest private infrastructure projects in Canadian history. The goal of this historic project is to construct Canada’s first LNG production and exportation facility. It is estimated that 4,500 -7,000 employees will work on the construction of this facility. This project will consist of building liquefication and storage facilities alongside port terminals and the pipeline itself. The LNG project is currently underway and is expected to finish in 2025.
