Blended Fall Protection Training Duration

Depending on experience, this blended fall protection course may take anywhere from three to five hours. This time may vary depending on the individual. It can be started, paused, and resumed as needed based on the participant’s schedule.

Assessment and Certification

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved. Printable resources are available in the form of a comprehensive student manual. The manual is a valuable resource for future use and knowledge retention.

Once the theoretical assessment has been completed, the practical evaluation is an optional assessment can be purchased at an additional cost and is not included with the online purchase. This practical will assess the student's competency in inspecting and using full-body harnesses, connectors, anchors, and harness fit. It covers proper inspection techniques for hardware and synthetic components, connecting devices, energy absorbers, snap hooks, and anchors, as well as harness strap adjustment and the significance of a partner check. A suspension test is also included in the examination.
