LNG Project Training

Leavitt Machinery has been approved as a JFJV training provider for the Kitimat LNG pipeline project. This forklift training course adheres to the standards outlined by the project guidelines. Operators can enroll in this course at any of our 20+ training facilities, making it easy to complete training regardless of location. With an estimated completion date of 2025, the LNG pipeline project is the largest private-infrastructure project in Canadian history. Approximately 4,500 to 7,000 employees will work on the construction of the first LNG (liquid natural gas) facility in Canada. An additional 400 will be employed for the operation and upkeep of the facility. The LNG project consists of the LNG liquefaction and storage facility, the port terminal, and the cryogenic pipeline.
