Reason #1 – It can be extremely cost effective

Do you have a large number of employees you need to train over the next 1- 3 years?

What is a large number considered to be?

We recommend once you hit the 10 employees plus threshold that it will start to make financial sense for your company to consider the Train-the-Trainer program. Instead of paying for each individual employees’ certification, you would instead pay the fee for someone to become a Train-the-Trainer and only the training materials fee after that.

Do you have a high amount of turnover? Do you require seasonal workers where you need to hire summer staff for example? These are both examples where this is going to start to cut your training costs tremendously.

Did you know that it is recommended that the Train-the-Trainer ticket is renewed every 3 years to follow the ANSI and CSA Standard for mobile equipment?

This means that if you certify an instructor, they can certify and re-certify all your staff for the following 3 years with the Leavitt Machinery program.

Reason #2 – It can save you time

Do you hate sending your employees offsite for training? Are you the person who is responsible for coordinating all the equipment training for your company? Do you wish you could oversee filing all your documentation? Does your company operate during evenings or nights, and you find it difficult to coordinate training courses?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, the Train-the-Trainer program is going to be a great fit for you.

If you have your own internal employee who is a Train-the-Trainer you can keep the training at your facility, there is no need to coordinate with any training companies, you file all of your documentation internally and if your Train-the-Trainer is already on shift during irregular operating hours you no longer have any issues.

Reason #3 – You work in a remote area

This third reason is a bit of a cheat because it is both reason 1 and 2 combined. If you are located in a remote area or somewhere that is not local to one of our training facilities it be quite costly to send your employees out for training and or send an instructor to your site. Per diems, hotel fees, gas prices can add up quickly and paying for your employee’s time can also be a hassle.

If you have a Train-the-Trainer that belongs with your company, you know they are local to you and there should not be any issues with their availability to be able to get to your site in a timely manner.

Do you need anything other than certification to be a Train-the-Trainer?

We at Leavitt Machinery have worked hard to create an all-encompassing program so that this process is as painless as possible for you.

We have not only created the programs to ensure they include all theory and regulatory information as well as practical assessment lessons, but we also have all of the training materials you will need available to you. We have all your multimedia needs covered such as PowerPoints and videos, but also workbooks, handouts and more.
