Operator Training Regulations
Occupational Health and Safety regulations state only trained and authorized operators are permitted to operate mobile equipment. Operators must receive a combination of classroom and hands on training to demonstrate their understanding of safe work practices as well as their operating abilities. This training must be conducted by a qualified person.
Leavitt Machinery is proud to hold an associate membership with the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA), and the Canada Safety Council. Leavitt Machinery's trainers are trained and certified by Fall Protection Group Inc. to deliver, on Fall Protection Group's behalf, accredited Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) training.
