The  LNG pipeline is the largest private-sector project in Canadian history. Based in Kitimat, this project seeks to create Canada’s first LNG (liquid natural gas) production and export facility. Scheduled for completion in 2025, the LNG project broke ground in 2018 and is currently in the construction phase. An estimated 4,500 to 7,000 employees are expected to be hired to work on this historic project. The scope of this project includes the construction of LNG treatment, liquefaction, and storage facilities along with other key infrastructure. This includes port terminals and a massive inter-connection cryogenic transfer pipeline.
