Injury Prevention for Drivers Course Overview

Professional truck drivers have more injuries that keep them off the job than workers in any other industry. Several of these injuries are caused by issues not even related to driving a vehicle! In fact, most injuries are caused by unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, errors in judgement, or environmental dangers. Sprains, strains, improper lifting, improper positioning, slips, trips, and falls all have the potential of resulting in an injury.

This course is designed to provide drivers with the information they need to help them prevent injuries both on and off the road. After completing this course, participants will be able to recognize common activities that put them at risk for injury and will know how to protect themselves so they can stay on the job.
