Crane Rental Coordinator

The Crane Rental Coordinator is responsible for the contract management and coordination of all crane rentals within a designated territory. The Crane Rental Coordinator ensures that all required documentation is received for the rental, pay applications are completed monthly and to ensure all costs related to the rental are captured and allocated properly. The Crane Rental Coordinator will use a variety of different computer programs (SILK, CRM, Nextar, Excel & Outlook) in order to complete their duties. The Crane Rental Coordinator’s performance will be measured by throughput and quality metrics.

The Opportunity:

  • Process rental requisitions, quotations, reservations, and contracts, while maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both customers and internal contacts, for both first contact and continued communication
  • Build and foster a team dynamic within the assigned territory with Sales Representatives and the service team
  • Issuing and receiving purchase orders
  • Coordination of freight including BOL’s and customs paperwork
  • Billing customer damage repair work orders

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, operations or a related discipline is required
  • One to three years of experience in a fast-paced Sales or Customer Service environment is required
  • Possess superior interpersonal, communications and analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM and SILK is an asset
  • Must be extremely organized and a self-starter; able to work with limited supervision,
  • Possess superior interpersonal, communications and analytical skills,
  • Must be a strong multi-tasker, and must excel at coping with conflicting priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization including the client, the management team, other work crews, and subordinates
  • Excels in a fast-paced work environment
