Administrative Assistant - Telecommunications

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, and working directly with the Communications Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting day to day tasks and functions such as employee cellphone requirements, phone billing and account verification in the communications department.

Job Description Details

·         Phone invoice coding of monthly phone bills and purchases

·         Receiving inventory, maintaining, and updating cell phone tracking database spreadsheet

·         Helping users set-up email on mobile devices

·         Issuing mobility supply requirements, loaner phones and replacement devices

·         Trouble shooting and supporting cell phone and air card issues

·         Completion of monthly cell phone reports

·         Updating divisional contact list

·         Updating GAL with newly issued phone numbers for both mobile and land line numbers

·         Distribution of mobility User Agreements, follow up and record keeping.

·         Provide relief/vacation support to Communications Administration in regards to company-wide telecom system.

·         Assist with Business Systems projects and tasks as required.

Job Requirements

·         Post-secondary education in a related discipline

·         Minimum two year’s experience in a similar role

·         Previous experience with cellphone (iphone) workings and the Avaya phone system would be beneficial

·         Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

·         Proven customer service skills

·         Must be extremely organized, accurate and detail-oriented

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Ability to multitask and cope with conflicting priorities

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision

·         A self-starter and a team player.
